Friends of Firelands was originally created to raise funds to aide the levy campaign for the potential to build new facilities for the Firelands Local Schools. (March 2016)

The event was such a success and the energy regarding our school and community was so positive that we decided to make it official and to create an official 503c non-profit organization that exists for the sole purpose of positively promoting our students, staff, and community.
